Samyang 500mm F8.0 Preset is a telephoto lens designed for full-frame cameras and APS-C format. This lens’ optics is constructed with 4 lens elements arranged in 4 groups with anti-reflective coatings ensuring high light transmission. It comes with a two-ring aperture control system, the first ring adjusts the aperture value, while the other closes or opens the aperture. The lens features F/8 aperture and a focal length of 500mm. With its universal T-mount, the lens may be attached to all reflex cameras via the T2 adapter. This lens also feature filter sizes of 67 mm. It comes with a carrying bag and tripod mount.

Optical construction

The T-mount goes with all types of digital reflex cameras through a T2 adapter. The optics comprise of 4 lens elements arranged in 4 groups with anti-reflective coatings that have been used to ensure high light transmission. The lens comes with a two-ring aperture control system: one ring adjusts the aperture value, while the second closes or opens the aperture. The depth of field scale has been marked on the strong metal casing to facilitate shooting.

The kit also includes a practical transport bag, tripod mount to properly balance the lens attached to the tripod, T2 adapter for the selected system and protective caps. A dedicated x2 converter to obtain the focal length of 1000 mm can be purchased as a separate item.
